The etchings I do originate from my drawings.  I begin with the figure and place her in an environment.  She is surrounded by flowers or pebbles in order to ground her.  She originates from growth and enters a her own spiritual world.  Her eyes gaze towards a halo, or she is place within one.  She represents strength within her personal introspective journey.
